Reliability as a Feature: Live Bot Progress and Auto-Refunds
Product quality isn't just the sound. It's also the confidence that the service won't lose your work or stay silent when something fails. Today's update pack is entirely about that.
We interrupted your job — you get the token back. Automatically
Service updates require restarts, and a mastering running at that moment could previously vanish silently. Now, on every startup, the server finds interrupted jobs itself and automatically refunds the token to the owner — no support emails, no waiting.
With the first run we refunded tokens for every job ever interrupted — if your balance suddenly grew, that's why. We're sorry about the interrupted masterings — that debt is now settled, and it will never again happen silently.
The Telegram bot grew up
- Live progress: instead of minutes of silence — an updating message "🎛 45% · Studio EQ" and an upload indicator.
- /cancel — exit any dialog with one command; /start also always begins with a clean slate.
- Honesty about Telegram limits: bots can't download files over 20 MB — the bot now says so immediately and points to the website instead of replying with a cryptic error.
- Unified limits: Free — 1 basic master per UTC day, same as the website (the bot used to quote different numbers — fixed).
- Tokens are charged only for results: any processing or delivery error triggers an automatic refund.
The assistant knows today's product
The AI consultant in the app and the bot has been updated: it knows all the new features (De-clipper, Album Mode, stems, express cleanup, the intensity slider) and the current token pricing. And if the LLM provider is unavailable, the assistant says so honestly and gives you the support address instead of an error.

Questions and answers
What happens if a server update interrupts my mastering?
Your token comes back automatically. On every startup the server finds jobs interrupted by a restart, marks them and refunds the token to the owner — no support tickets needed. We've already refunded tokens for every job ever interrupted.
What's new in the Telegram bot?
Live mastering progress ('45% · Studio EQ'), a /cancel command to exit any dialog, clear messages about Telegram's file limits (20 MB — the website handles big files), and honest Free-tier limits: 1 basic master per UTC day, same as the website.
Why won't my large file go through the bot?
It's a Telegram Bot API restriction: bots download files up to 20 MB and send up to 50 MB. The bot now warns you about it right away. For large files (WAV up to 800 MB) use the website — magicmaster.pro/app.
Are tokens charged on errors?
No. The token is refunded on any mastering error and even on a failed delivery of the result to Telegram. You pay only for a master you actually receive.
