Restore the dynamics of an over-compressed track
Does your track sound flat and brickwalled — from over-compression, or because an AI generator delivered it that way? The AI Unlimiter preset brings back punch and crest factor: it re-emphasizes transients and opens the sound up, without adding distortion. Online, no DAW.
Open up a track →What AI Unlimiter does
Loudness-war limiting and AI generators often shave off transients and pin the sound to the ceiling — the crest factor drops and the track sounds flat and fatiguing. What a limiter clipped can't be fully recovered, but perceived punch can.
Transient recovery
Re-emphasizes the transient component (drum impact, string pluck), bringing back life and clarity.
Opening the wall
Gently lowers the sustained loud bed, lifting crest factor and contrast — the sound breathes at the same loudness.
No distortion
Works on the envelope and never hardclips peaks: on overload the whole buffer is scaled under the ceiling.
Who it's for
- AI music creators (Suno, Udio) — generators often output a brickwall; Unlimiter opens it up before release.
- Loudness-war victims — old masters crushed for loudness breathe again.
- Mastering from a finished mix — if the source is already over-compressed, the stage brings back some punch.
- Before uploading to streaming — platforms normalize loudness anyway, so an open, dynamic track wins.
Questions and answers
Can you restore dynamics to an already over-compressed track?
What a limiter clipped can't be fully recovered, but perceived punch can. AI Unlimiter re-emphasizes transients and lifts the crest factor at the same loudness, with no hardclipping and no added distortion.
Does it work for AI tracks from Suno or Udio?
Yes. AI generators often output pinned to the ceiling with a low crest factor. Unlimiter brings back impact and air, and mastering takes it to the platform's target loudness.
Won't it add distortion?
No. The stage works on the envelope and never hardclips peaks — on overload the buffer is scaled carefully under the ceiling. Measured added THD is within the margin of error versus normal mastering.
What is crest factor?
The difference between the peak and the average loudness (PLR). In a brickwall it's small — transients are shaved off, the sound is flat and fatiguing. Restoring crest factor brings back the impact and makes the track less tiring.
How much does it cost?
Your first basic master each day is free (UTC). The AI Unlimiter preset is part of a full PRO master: 1 token = 1 track, paid in rubles via YooKassa.
