Magic Master 3.11: AMR, OGG and Telegram Delivery

Release 3.11 is about making sure a file gets through: accepted, processed and
delivered. Almost every change came from reviewing production logs — rejections
people received and files that never arrived.

New formats

Accepted now: WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A, OGG and AMR.

• AMR is what phone voice recorders save. Such recordings were rejected with
  "unsupported format" several times. Both narrowband and wideband AMR are accepted
  now.
• OGG (Vorbis and Opus) — voice messages and exports from many apps.
• Long WAV recordings in the RF64 variant, written by field recorders, used to
  be rejected even though they are regular WAV.
• Files with unusual headers. Sometimes an M4A or WAV from an app does not
  start the way we expected, and a perfectly good audio file was rejected. Such a
  file is now inspected more deeply: if it contains audio in a supported codec, it
  is processed. An image or a silent video named like an audio file is not.
• The Telegram bot and the classic interface accept M4A — the format phones and
  messengers use for recordings.

An honest note on AMR: mastering evens out loudness, balance and peaks, but it
cannot restore highs that are not in the file — AMR keeps the band up to 4 kHz (or
8 kHz for the wideband variant). If your recorder can save WAV or M4A, use that.

Telegram delivery

• Large masters arrive. A file of about 35 MB now reaches Telegram in seconds
  instead of minutes — before, such files often did not arrive at all.
• If Telegram still refuses the file, the bot immediately sends a download link
  to your master, valid for 24 hours, instead of "open the app" a couple of minutes
  later. Separated stems also arrive as a link when the upload fails.
• The waiting time on the "file is uploading" card is based on the real channel
  speed.

Faster and more reliable

• AI preset advice answers in a few seconds. The model used to miss its deadline
  in roughly one case out of four, leaving only rule-based advice; since switching to
  a faster model this has not happened.
• A batch of tracks is no longer rejected with "not enough memory". When the
  server is busy, tracks of a batch now wait for their turn instead of being dropped
  after twenty seconds.
• When a file in your history has expired, it is marked "file expired" instead
  of showing a Download button that ended in an error, and the message names the
  storage period — including for use without an account (about an hour).

Privacy

• Complaint tracks only with your consent. The "Not great" rating form has a new
  checkbox: allow keeping the original track for 30 days so the team can look into
  the issue. It is unticked by default, and without it the track is not stored.
• Deleting your account also deletes stored complaint tracks.
• The privacy policy now lists the storage period
  for these tracks.

Small things you will notice

• Sign in with Google — next to Yandex, VK and Telegram.
• A hint about a muffled intro in the new interface.
  If a track's intro is noticeably duller than the main part, the analysis warns you
  before mastering.
• Paying from the new interface in another tab. If the checkout returns you to a
  different browser — for example from a banking app — the beta page tells you the
  payment went through and offers to sign in the same way.
• For AI agents: the list of input formats in the agent-facing service
  description now comes from the same setting that decides acceptance, so an agent
  will not promise a format that is not supported. Setup is on the
