Magic Master 3.12: Already Loud, AI Clean-up and New Packs
Release 3.12 is about sound that behaves more honestly. The changes came from
reviewing feedback and reports on whether each preset kept its promise.
Sound
- Already Loud no longer squashes a dynamic track. The preset for tracks that
arrive already loud always took loudness to −12 LUFS. When the incoming track
was actually dynamic, this compressed it more than needed — the opposite of what
the preset promises. Now the target yields to the material: loudness is set so
that peaks stay clear of the ceiling, but never quieter than −16 LUFS. A track
that is already dense still gets −12. When the target was lowered, the result
says so. - AI clean-up removes the generator's fingerprint. Clean-up used to remove noise
and artefacts, but the spectral fingerprint that open detectors use to recognise
the generator stayed almost the same. Now it is removed, and the change is not
audible. Nobody can guarantee a result against every detector — platforms use
their own closed methods. - Jazz and classical without an artificial hall. Hall reverb is no longer on by
default in the jazz and classical styles: live recordings have their own space,
and the added hall blurred it. - Click removal no longer creates new peaks. In restoration, fixing a click no
longer leaves a new spike in its place. - Clear preset names: Universal and Already Loud — the same in every interface.
Convenience
- Next track. A finished result now has a button that sends the next track with
the same settings — just pick the file. - Format change after a server restart. Picking another download format is now
served from your history, so it works even if the server restarted meanwhile. - Double-clicking Buy no longer returns a payment error.
- A clean-up hint. If your feedback says the track sounds like AI, we point you
to the AI clean-up tool.
What's next

Will AI clean-up remove every sign of AI?

What if changing the download format failed?
If the server restarted while you were listening to a result, choosing another format (MP3, FLAC) used to fail. The file is now taken from your history, so the format change works.
