Today's update, 3.5.0, is the most noticeable in weeks for anyone mastering
AI music. The headlines: AI digital-trace removal now sounds audibly
better, cleanup gets an honest visualization, and bloggers and channel
owners can now join a partner program.
AI-trace cleanup: the sound no longer goes dull
Digital-trace removal is the most requested feature among Suno and Udio
creators. It destroys the marks a generator embeds in the audio: high-frequency
steganography, artifacts at the boundaries of generation blocks and an
unnaturally precise periodicity in the envelope.
The previous version had an audible cost: the filter cut everything above
15.5 kHz, and along with the watermark the track lost its air: the cymbals, the
sheen, the feeling of an open top end. In 3.5.0 we solved this cleanly: the
cleaned band is restored with natural spectral noise whose level is matched
to the source. The logic is simple and honest: a watermark is always a
structure, and noise carries no structure. The mark is reliably destroyed and
the brightness stays where it was. Dark tracks that never had a top end get
nothing artificial.
The second improvement is a musical transient detector. Smoothing the
boundaries of AI blocks could previously catch a kick drum or the start of a
drop, mistaking it for a generation artifact. Now a sharp musical hit is
recognized and left alone.
The third is an evidence-based report. After cleanup the service shows at
which frequencies it found narrow-band watermarks (for example, 17,899 Hz), by
how many decibels they were suppressed and whether the air was restored. These
are not marketing words but measurements of your specific file.
Along the way we fixed a long-hidden defect: in some cases mono files went
through cleanup without being processed, even though the status reported
success. The mono path is now covered by dedicated tests, and any internal
error in the module honestly stops the job instead of a silent "done".

track, the watermarks found at their real frequencies, a scanner beam, and the
moment the marks crumble and the top band comes back to life. Dark and light
themes switch right on the card. It is a visual retelling of the real report,

Why does noise destroy a watermark without hurting the sound?
Any digital watermark is a structure hidden in the signal. Noise carries no structure by definition, so putting spectrally matched noise back into the top band is safe: perceptually it is the same air, but there is no encoded information left in it. The level is matched to the source, so dark tracks with no top end get nothing extra.
