What these tools are

These are free utilities covering the checks that come up before and after mastering. They need no signup and store nothing: audio is analysed and deleted immediately, and the ear trainer runs entirely in your browser.

Each tool answers one specific question that would otherwise mean opening heavy software or guessing by ear.

Which tool for which job

Loudness penalty — when the master is ready and you need to know whether platforms will turn it down. LUFS analyser — when you need exact loudness, true peak and range figures per ITU-R BS.1770.

Key and BPM — when preparing to mix, picking samples or recording a part. Mastering calculator — when you are unsure what target to set for a given genre and platform. Ear trainer — for daily practice: it builds a skill rather than processing a file.

How this differs from mastering

The tools measure and advise but do not change your sound. They help you decide: remix the track, lower the loudness target, or ship it as is.

Once decided, the mastering itself happens in the main app — where you can also compare four processing styles on your own track and pick one.

Full mastering — 1 free per UTC day

Target-LUFS guarantee, true peak ≤ −1 dBTP, honest A/B and a track passport.
