What the tool does
- Speeds a song up. Choose +10, +15, +20 or +25% (+20% by default). Tempo and pitch rise together, like a record played faster: at +20% the voice sounds about 3 semitones higher.
- Slows a song down. Choose −10, −15 or −20% (−15% by default). The pitch drops with the tempo: at −15%, by about 2.8 semitones.
- Adds reverb to the slowed version. None, light or strong (light by default). The reverb is applied after slowing down, so its tail plays at the new tempo.
- Guards against clipping. If the peak goes above −1 dBTP after processing, the whole file is turned down by one fixed amount. This is not a limiter: the dynamics stay as they were.
Which version to make
| Version | Settings | How it sounds |
|---|---|---|
| Sped up | +15…+25% | Faster and brighter, the voice higher |
| Nightcore style | +20 or +25% | Clearly faster and higher |
| Slowed + reverb | −10…−20%, light or strong reverb | Slower and lower, with space around the sound |
| Plain slowed | −10…−20%, no reverb | Slower and lower, with no added space |
Start with the defaults: +20% for a sped up version and −15% with light reverb for a slowed one. If the voice sounds too cartoonish, lower the percentage.
How to make a sped up or slowed version in 3 steps
- Upload the track: WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A or OGG, up to 10 minutes and 100 MB.
- Choose the mode and the percentage: Speed up or Slow down, plus the reverb for a slowed version. Under the percentages you can see the new speed and how many semitones the pitch moves.
- Download the result as WAV or MP3 320 kbps. The speed is in the file name, for example “_sped_up_120” or “_slowed_85_reverb”.

Questions and answers
Is it free?
Yes: 1 version a day without signing in and 1 version a day when signed in. Beyond that, a version costs 1 token for a signed-in user. The limit resets at midnight UTC.
Why does the pitch change?
The speed changes the way it does on a turntable: the pitch goes up or down with the tempo. That is the sped up and slowed sound. At +20% the pitch is about 3 semitones higher, at −15% about 2.8 semitones lower.
How is slowed + reverb different from just slowing down?
The reverb. It adds space around the sound, like a hall, and makes the version softer. In the tool you can choose none, light or strong.
Which percentage should I pick?
Start with the defaults: +20% for a sped up version and −15% with light reverb for a slowed one. For a nightcore-style sound, try +20 or +25%.
Which format do I get?
WAV or MP3 320 kbps, your choice. The source can be WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A or OGG.
Is my file stored?
No. The version is returned right after processing, and the source file is not saved on the server.
Can I make a clip or master it straight away?
Yes. After processing, the screen links to Track clip and to mastering.
