Magic Master 3.16: the new interface and where the old one is
We changed how the app looks. The features are the same as before: upload, presets, AI advice, restoration, stems and loudness by platform. What changed is how everything looks and the order in which you meet it. Below: what exactly changed, how to get the old look back, and why your answer matters to us.
What changed
Working in the app follows three steps you can read from top to bottom:
1 · upload a track, 2 · what to do?, 3 · master. First the file, then the task, then the result, with no detours between pages.
Right under the upload area is a Popular row with five entry points:
- Backing track: vocals and instrumental as separate WAV files;
- AI cleanup: removing the generator trace typical of Suno and Udio;
- Restoration: hum, clicks, hiss and clipping repair;
- Key & BPM: the key and tempo of a track;
- Loudness: mastering for the platform you choose.
These same five entries used to sit in the regular menu. Now they are right in front of you.
The module chain editor moved into the new look too: the order of modules, their level and parameters change in the same place where you start mastering. AI advice and its daily limit are explained more clearly: when today's advice limit is used up, the screen says that mastering is not affected and when the limit resets.
The design is flat: no shadows, with blocks separated by thin borders. The screen is calmer, and results and buttons stand out more.
Dark and light themes
At first the theme matches your system settings. The ◐ icon in the header switches it. Your choice is remembered on the device.
Where the old look is
If the new look gets in your way, the app header has an Old design link. It opens the previous interface and remembers your choice on this device. The footer has the same option. The main features are the same in both looks.
The home page and the price page are also in the new design.
What we need from you
The new interface is still being refined, and we want to know three things:
- what was convenient and what was not;
- where you expected one thing and got another;
- what is missing for you to use it every day.
Tell us what works and what does not. There are two ways:
- Suggest an improvement — a link in the app footer. Write any remarks: about buttons, texts, the theme, the order of steps.
- "Check the new version" campaign: 1 token for a review. After your first mastering in the new interface, a short two-minute form appears under the result. For signed-in accounts it gives 1 token. One reward per account. The campaign runs until October 18 inclusive (Moscow time) while its budget lasts. We publish a review on the site only with your consent and under the name you enter.
Concrete details matter most to us: what exactly is inconvenient and where. One clear paragraph helps more than five star ratings.
Try the app: master a track, backing track and key changer.
